Laila Odom is an actress and producer who stars as ' Pepa' in Lifetime’s "Salt-N-Pepa,” set to debut January 23rd. The film tells the story of nursing students Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton, and how they formed 80's hip-hop group, Salt-N-Pepa. Laila's other credits include "The Bobby Debarge Story", "Phantom Halo", "Game Shakers” and "Undercover Brother 2.” She is also a regular contributor to Kevin Hart's LOL Network. Laila was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Rutgers University: Mason Gross School of The Arts, where she received her BFA. In her spare time, Laila enjoys singing, dancing, and spends most of her time fitness training.
